Bowls Victoria Regulations for Attire 2014-15

 

Bowls Victoria encourages all affiliated members to be sun smart

 

1.1 SCOPE OF BOWLS VICTORIA REGULATIONS FOR ATTIRE:

 

Please note: It is the responsibility of the President of each Club to ensure all members observe the Bowls Victoria Regulations for Attire, including the Bowls Australia National Logo Policy, which applies at all times when playing in Pennant and above Competitions. All members of affiliated Clubs shall comply with the Bowls Victoria Regulations for Attire when playing on any green in Bowls Victoria controlled matches and competitions, i.e. all Pennant Competitions and above.

 

1.2 LOGOS

:

The logo requirements for apparel are defined by the Bowls Australia National Logo Policy. This dictates the size and placement of: (i) the Bowls Australia logo, & of (ii) the manufacturer’s mark. Please refer to the Bowls Australia National Logo Policy (www.bowlsaustralia.com.au) for advice on

which apparel must have logos now and which apparelmust have the logos on replacement. The Bowls Victoria logois not to be used by Clubs, Regions & Divisions.

 

1.3 HEADWEAR

:

White, Coloured or Registered Club coloured headwear may be worn. Such headwear, in all Pennant and above Competitions must have the Bowls Australia logo. White block hats with club hatband may be worn (no logo required). Headwear is always optional, however Bowls Victoria recommends all members protect themselves from the elements at all

times. No commercial/promotional headwear carrying advertising may be worn at any BV Event even though it carries a BA Logo.

 

1.4 GARMENTS FOR PENNANT AND ABOVE

 

(i.e. Pennant, State Title events, including Regional Division Rounds):

White, cream, coloured or any Registered Club apparel:

White, cream, coloured or Registered Club coloured shirt with collar;

White, cream, coloured or Registered Club coloured garments including trousers, shorts, dresses, culottes, skorts, skirts, slack suits, skirt suits, pedal pushers, jackets, vests and headwear.

 

All the above garments, if worn for Pennant and aboveCompetitions, must have the Bowls Australia logo.

 

IF REGISTERED CLUB SHIRT WORN FOR PENNANT, ALL MEMBERS OF A SIDE MUST BE ATTIRED IN THE SAME SHIRT.

 

1.5 REGISTRATION OF CLUB COLOURED APPAREL

 

(a) Coloured designs of Club Coloured apparel must be submitted by Clubs to Bowls Victoria for registration. Note:Only Clubs which have registered their Club coloured apparel may wear Club coloured apparel.

 

(b) Submissions for registration must include the coloured image, front and back including sleeves, of the apparel and the name of the Bowls Australia

Licensed Manufacturer/s.

 

The wearing of registered Club coloured apparel is at the discretion of the Club.

 

1.6 RAINWEAR:

 

White rainwear worn for Pennant and above must have the Bowls Australia logo. Rainwear may be white, clear, coloured with the Bowls Australia logo.

 

1.7 FOOTWEAR:

 

Footwear must have flat rubber heelless soles, manufacturers branding may be on footwear, sandals may be worn without socks but thongs are not permitted.

 

1.8 VLBA/RVBA LOGO:

 

The VLBA/RVBA logos are NOT PERMITTED on any garments for Pennant and above after 1/7/2014
